Hi there. I'm Scott (legally, Scot) from Aurora, Colorado and the creator of this community forum. I created the forum because I couldn't find anything specifically for the San Luis Valley Community in the way of forums although I found tons of forums that mentioned the SLV in them. While I do not currently live in the SLV I have land there and wanted to connect with others in the area to learn as much as I could in the mean time before I finally make the move.
I grew up mainly in Little Rock, Arkansas although I did spend some time in Tennessee with my Dad. It was in Tennessee where I fell in love with nature and started to dream about land of my own that I could call home. The land in Hickman County, Tennessee is a whole lot different than the land in Costilla County, Colorado where my property is and I can see that I'm going to have a lot of work ahead of me when I do finally move to the valley. I hope to learn a lot from the folks who use this forum.
