Ok, so here is another question I have. If you hunt in the SLV, do you process the meat yourself or do you have some place do it for you? If you have a place do it for you, who does it?

There are places that do it. The only one I can think of off hand is Mel's meat processing in Romeo there is also another guy in Del Norte who does it but I forget the name. There are more around tho I know.

There are more around tho I know. I know they had a place in Tennessee that did this when I lived there. Actually, when I was younger I used to listen to a scanner a lot and one night my friends and I heard about a deer that had been hit by a semi. We went to check it out and they were about to get rid of the carcus. So we asked the cop of we could have it. He said sure, so we put it in the trunk of my old car and hauled it down to a meat processing place. It was out of season but we explained what had happened (and it was pretty obvious considering the back half of the animal was gone). The guy went ahead and processed what he could and we still ended up with a lot of meat out of it. So what kind of game animals are actually in the SLV? Do the same people who process game meat also process livestock?
